Sexual Harassment Response Scenario Part 3.1

Scenario:

Let’s say the supervisor made the wrong decision. Rather than issuing Tom a written warning, he decides to change Becca’s schedule so that she no longer has to work with Tom and never informs Tom that a complaint was filed or issues him any form of warning.

As a result, Tom often trades shifts with fellow coworkers so that he can work alongside Becca. Becca feels the harassment has begun to escalate as Tom now goes out of his way to physically bump into her, pat her shoulder, and rub her back.

Their coworker, James, notices this and decides to be an Active Bystander and inform Becca of her rights according to federal and California State law.
